01 / CONTEXT AND GOAL

Your mattress. Your morning.

VIP Matraci combines a large product catalogue with a physical store in Sofia’s Lyulin 5 district. The task was to create a distinctive new presentation and make choosing models and sizes easier, while retaining existing products, orders and the familiar administration area.

We developed a bespoke interface, separate from the WordPress theme, with server-rendered pages. WordPress and WooCommerce remain responsible for product and order management. The new shop connects collections, product details, comparison and purchasing to real prices, variants and stock from the existing backend.

A new visual direction and a clear opening screen

Warm light backgrounds meet the brand’s blue, large typography and real product photography. The opening screen highlights the headline, main call to action and category links. SVG icons and curved arrows complement consistent desktop and mobile navigation.

A catalogue that supports the decision

More than 190 products are organised into six core collections: double-sided and single-sided mattresses, toppers, bed frames, beds and accessories. Search, size and budget filters, sorting and promotions support browsing. A short finder leads visitors to a suitable category based on type, size and budget.

Sizes, product galleries and comparison

Size selection is linked to the actual variant and its price. Product pages include galleries and descriptions, and visitors can compare models. Direct links open a selected size. Products without a configured price display “Ask for a price”.

Ordering validated by WooCommerce

The cart, quantities, delivery and checkout use the WooCommerce Store API. Prices and stock are validated by the existing shop. Its configured cash-on-delivery and bank-transfer methods are retained, and orders remain in the familiar administration area.

Smooth motion and mobile layouts

Real product photographs unfold through reversible scroll effects. On desktop, shorter left columns remain visible alongside longer content. The mobile layout preserves natural scrolling, legibility and accessible controls, with reduced-motion preferences respected.

Preserved URLs and administration, optimised images

We migrated the shop to a VPS, retained product URLs and WordPress administration, and separated the public interface from the theme. Cyrillic fonts are hosted locally. Used JPEG/PNG images were converted to WebP, and verified unused media files were cleaned up after dependency checks.

An SEO foundation and useful answers

We prepared unique titles and descriptions, canonical URLs, sitemaps and structured data for products, sizes, prices and the store. A buying guide, FAQs and internal links provide useful answers. Checks covered 225 public URLs, variant data and crawler access to content.
