01 / CONTEXT AND GOAL

A clearer way to explore medical equipment

Oxycare Bulgaria presents specialist medical equipment and serves customers through its online shop and Sofia office. The task was to renew the website and purchasing experience, migrate existing products and orders to a standalone system and preserve the brand’s familiar identity.

We developed a bespoke shop with server-rendered pages, a database and an administration area. The original logo, blue and yellow colours, uppercase navigation and product images were retained. The new layout foregrounds devices, prices and clear actions, connecting the catalogue, office, useful information and ordering in one structure.

Migration preserving products and history

We migrated all 80 published products and five variants, including descriptions, prices, images and categories. Product URLs, order history and administrator access were preserved. Redirects for legacy images and a private recovery archive were also prepared.

A catalogue for specialist devices and accessories

Products are organised into 16 categories and four main areas: oxygen, sleep therapy, respiratory therapy and monitoring. We added search, filters, product galleries, prices and selection of available variants. Individual product pages retain the source technical information.

Interactive AirSense presentation

The opening screen presents the AirSense 10 AutoSet with a complete device image, price and key specifications. Three interactive points explain the screen, controls and humidifier. The interaction also works on phones, without relying solely on hover.

A clear route to the Sofia office

The address and map appear directly after the opening screen and are also available in navigation, contact information and product pages. A bespoke SVG map shows the office at 10 Midia Street, with a separate directions link. Telephone and email links make it easy to ask questions and arrange a visit.

Useful information and readable documents

We structured the NHIF oxygen-therapy information into four clear steps taken from Oxycare’s original material. Brochures open in a readable view and can be downloaded. FAQs, contacts, enquiry forms and a contract withdrawal form complete the website.

Complete ordering and central management

We built a cart, quantity controls, variant and stock checks, a delivery form and order confirmation. Totals are validated on the server and payment is on delivery. Orders and enquiries are stored in the system and sent by email; the administration area supports managing products, stock and incoming requests.

Animation, mobile layouts and technical foundations

We added animated headings, device motion, expanding categories and scroll-driven brochures. A local font supporting Bulgarian Cyrillic, WebP images and responsive layouts support readability and loading speed. Metadata, canonical URLs, structured data, an XML sitemap, cookie consent controls, reduced-motion support and backups provide the technical foundation.
