01 / CONTEXT AND GOAL

Content, community and monetisation

Creators need one place to publish, connect with their audience and manage revenue. Ufancy brings these processes together in a social platform with access levels, content tools and administrative control over users, payments and moderation.

The platform connects profiles, posts, a media library, Messenger and subscription access. Public, subscriber-only and individually paid content are managed in one system. External payment, AI, video and infrastructure integrations are selected and configured for the project and require the corresponding accounts and services.

Accounts, creators and publishing permissions

Registration separates users and creators, with open publishing, immediate activation after application, administrator approval or closed access. A single-creator model is also supported. Login options include email, Google, Facebook and X/Twitter, with email verification, password recovery, email-based 2FA and trusted devices. Email changes and deletion requests with review and a waiting period are available.

Profiles, feeds and content discovery

Profiles include an avatar, cover, biography, verification badge, QR code, social links and sections for media, Reels and streams. Public and restricted access, hidden counters and Spotify highlights are supported. Feeds, recommendations and search are complemented by filters, following, likes, comment threads, saved posts and custom user lists.

Editor, Reels, Stories and Highlights

Posts can contain text, images, video, audio and multiple attachments, with drag-and-drop, reordering and previews. Drafts, scheduling, expiry, polls, YouTube embeds, hashtags and mentions are included. Reels support public or paid access, custom sound, views and interactions. Stories support images, video and text with backgrounds, positioning and sound, Messenger replies and saving as Highlights.

Media library and access-controlled documents

Media Vault stores uploads for reuse in posts, Reels, Stories and conversations. It includes filters, previews, archiving, recovery and file-usage checks. Administrators can enable PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, CSV, Markdown and ZIP files. Downloads follow paid or subscriber access rules, with restrictions on deleting purchased content.

Conversations and automated communication

Messenger provides real-time private conversations with images, video, audio, voice recordings, paid messages and tips. Broadcast messaging, pinned messages, drafts, templates, search and welcome automations are supported. GIF search can use KLIPY or GIPHY. Email, in-app and web push notifications offer user preferences for content, interactions, payments and expiring access.

Subscriptions, payment gateways and wallet

Monetisation includes monthly, quarterly, six-month and annual subscriptions, bundles, offers, individually paid posts, messages, Reels, streams and tips. Supported integrations include Stripe, PayPal, CCBill and Verotel for direct recurring and one-off payments; Paystack, MercadoPago, Razorpay, YooMoney, Xendit, Paddle, Mollie and Flutterwave for one-off transactions; and NowPayments, CoinGate and Crypto.com for crypto payments. With the appropriate configuration, the internal wallet funds subscriptions from deposited balances, while manual deposits undergo administrator review.

Payouts, reporting and advertising results

Creators have transaction history, saved payment accounts and payout requests. Stripe Connect provides a creator-payout integration; distribution behaviour depends on configuration. Commissions, fees, invoices, country-based tax settings, DAC7 data and CSV exports are supported. Referrals use personal links and configured reward rules. Conversion tracking can use a browser pixel or server postback, with consent, a test mode and history.

Live streaming and AI tools

Streams can be public, subscriber-only or individually paid, with chat, viewer counts, notifications and tips. LiveKit supports browser-based WebRTC streaming, while PushrCDN adds OBS/RTMP, HLS and VOD; recording availability depends on the selected integration. AI tools assist with posts, biographies, Stories, streams, avatars and covers through OpenAI, Ollama, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Gemini or xAI, depending on model and configuration.

Verification, moderation and administrative control

Identity checks, documents, release forms, administrator approval and AgeVerif age verification are available when configured. Reports, decision history, sanctions and manual or AI-assisted moderation complement the controls; Sightengine can scan images and video. Privacy features include blocking, geographical restrictions, cookie consent, CAPTCHA and rate limits. The administration panel offers roles, statistics, settings, enquiry statuses, diagnostics and maintenance mode.

Responsive design, PWA and infrastructure

The responsive interface offers light and dark themes, custom branding, translations and RTL support. The PWA can be added to a device’s home screen. The Laravel/PHP platform supports Redis, queues and separate file storage: local, S3, Wasabi, DigitalOcean Spaces, MinIO, PushrCDN, Cloudflare R2 or Backblaze B2. Processing includes chunked uploads, video conversion, watermarks and retries. Real-time and email services, metadata, sitemaps, structured data, public pages and advertising placements are available. External services require separate configuration and may carry their own fees.
