Start with the important pages and the real question each one solves. A new site, an indexed page, and a first-position ranking are three different things. This guide is for the first checks. Indexing is when relevant information is added to the index. Ranking is the ordering of results for a specific search. Success at one stage does not guarantee the next. Title describes the page for browsers and search engines. H1 is the main visible heading. Meta description is a short description that can be used for the snippet. Google may choose different text for the title or snippet depending on the page and the search. ## Check five things before publishing new content Does the important page open without an error? Is there an accidental noindex? Does the canonical point to the correct URL? Is there a visible internal link to the page? Can a person submit an inquiry from a phone? A sitemap helps discover URLs, but it does not guarantee indexing. Robots.txt controls crawling; noindex controls indexing when the bot can read the page. Do not block crawling of a URL just to hide its noindex. ## Choose one question for each page A service page answers who provides it, who it is for, what it includes, and how work starts. An article can help with understanding or comparison. Do not create several nearly identical pages just to repeat one keyword. Organize headings and add links where the reader needs the next piece of information. A short answer at the top is convenient for people and for extracting meaning, but it is not a guarantee of AI citation. ## How to track results In Search Console, review clicks, impressions, CTR, and queries for the main pages. Compare similar periods and note the date of edits. Average position is an aggregate, not a fixed spot for every person. Connect visits with received and relevant inquiries. Do not change everything after a few days without data. First confirm that the fix works; then evaluate the result after crawling and enough observation. ## What to do in the first month First, describe the important URLs and check access. Then refine the titles, answers, and links on the main pages. Next, choose missing useful content and verify measurement. Finally, compare the results and set the next tasks.
